About Us

The Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a supportive community for individuals and groups exploring expanded states of consciousness. Our mission is to promote personal growth, mental health, and well-being through practices such as meditation, movement, spiritual exploration, and the safe and intentional use of plant medicines and entheogenic compounds.

Based in Santa Cruz, California, we provide opportunities for local engagement through activities such as Peer Integration sessions, Microdosing Hikes, and our monthly educational community event, The Psychedelic Connection. Our work is rooted in creating a safe, inclusive, and informed space for learning, connection, and healing.

We do not provide or sell any illegal substances and fully comply with all local laws and regulations.

Our Offerings

  • Psychedelics in Recovery

    Offered weekly at our Center.

    Psychedelics in Recovery is a 12-step fellowship of people from all 12-step programs and other paths of recovery who share our experience, strength and hope with each other. Our primary purpose is to pursue recovery and help others do the same, as defined by the individual. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from our addictive behaviors and/or an interest in psychedelics as an aid to our process of recovery.

  • The Psychedelic Connection

    The Psychedelic Connection is our new monthly gathering for the local Psychedelic Community. Come and meet other fellow psychonauts, enjoy live music, educational talks and visionary art!

  • Microdosing Hikes

    A bi-monthly community walk in the forest in Santa Cruz that includes optional BYOM microdosing.
